Short answer

While a payout is Processing or Under review, do not submit it again — wait for a final status. If it fails, the amount and fee return to your wallet and the order shows the reason; fix the cause (such as the account number, name or the recipient account's limit) before trying again, and contact support with the order number if unsure.

Who this applies to

  • Users who send NGN payouts through the web, app, WhatsApp group or payout API.

Steps

  1. Find the payout in Orders and note the order number.
  2. Processing / Under review: do not resubmit; wait for the final status.
  3. Failed: read the reason on the order and check that the amount and fee are back in your wallet.
  4. Fix the cause and try again — correct the account, confirm the name with the recipient, or ask them to resolve their account limit.
  5. If there is no final status for a long time, or a refund has not arrived, contact official support with the order number.

Common reasons a payout fails

The account does not exist or has the wrong length; the returned name does not match the recipient; the receiving account has hit a limit set by its bank; the receiving bank is temporarily unavailable; or the payout did not pass limits or security review.

Risks and limits

  • Resubmitting can pay twice; confirm the previous payout's final status first.
  • Use only the support channels published on this website; support never asks for passwords, codes or your payment PIN.
